Although there are still two months till end of the year, yesterday DIATONE officially introduced their micro FPV drone fleet for 2019. While the smallest GT R239 (90mm) features uni-body injection modeling frame, the Diatone 2019 GT R249 (95mm), Diatone 2019 GT R249+ (115mm) and Diatone 2019 GT R349 (135mm) have carbon fiber frames. All Diatone 2019 GT micro drones will be available in 3 colors (white, black and lucency).
All 2019 GT R239-349 versions features same Mamba F405 mini flight controller, RunCam Micro Swift FPV camera and RunCam TX200U VTX with adjustable transmission power (25-200mW).

Diatone 2019 GT R239 vs Diatone 2019 GT R349
Due to the larger size, robust carbon fiber frame and more powerful motors, the the GT R349 has almost twice weight of the GT R239. Another major difference between these two is the battery type. While the GT R239 is powered by 3S LIPOs the GT R349 by 4S ones. IMHO the GT R239 is suitable for indoor practice and the GT R349 for outdoor flights (it needs more space to unleash its full power.).
Diatone 2019 GT R249 vs Diatone 2019 GT R249+
As you can see int he image above, there are no much visual differences between the GT R249 Rabit and the GT R249+. Both, features same kind of carbon fiber frame and protective canopy.
While the GT R249 has wheelbase of 95mm and 2″ propellers, the GT R249+ has wheelbase of 115mm and 2.5″ propellers. The rest of the electronic parts, including the motors are same.

Are you planning to review any of these cuties? I just saw a short video were they test the roughness of the Diatone 2019 GT R249’s frame. It is pretty impressive. It seems that the injection modeling frame performs even better than a carbon fiber one.
