Cheerson

Cheerson Hobby is a very popular multi-rotor brand across RC enthusiasts. They are mainly specialized in small drones, but also have few successful bigger quadcopters.

The CX-20 was probably the first affordable alternative to the DJI Phantom series.

Cheerson quadcopters and drones

Certainly the CX-10 series has the biggest popularity. Over the years this this evolved from a basic RC toy to a very versatile drone with WiFi FPV and altitude hold.

Below you can read about all the existing Cheerson quadcopters.

Cheerson CX-10W: Micro drone with WIFI camera

Cheerson CX-10W review
Yesterday, when I received the Cheerson CX-10W for review and I saw the size of the package, I knew it would be my shortest review and useless to make an unboxing video :) The CX-10W is the 3rd generation of the Cheerson Hobby mini quadcopter series. The first model of this series, the CX10, was revealed about two years ago....

Cheerson CX-35 quadcopter review

Cheerson CX-35 review
A few weeks ago, when I introduced this Cheerson CX-35 on my blog's quadcopter news section, it was probably the first affordable FPV quad with altitude-hold. Now, it is time to have a closer look at this CX-35 quad-copter and evaluate its performance. I promise that I will try to cover in my review the most important aspects like flight...

Cheerson CX-10WD mini quad in-depth review

Cheerson CX-10WD quadcopter review
This new Pokémon GO craziness, as I saw in a YouTube video, ends it up with some dude trying to hunt them using a mini quadcopter just like this Cheerson CX-10WD. Frankly, I don't know how he came up with this stupid idea. He probably opted for this CX10WD because it looks pretty cool and it has many reviews. The CX-10WD...

Cheerson CX-30 small quadcopter with camera

The Chinese Cheerson quadcopter manufacturer launches a real offensive in the world of small multi-rotors, first with the nano CX-10 and now with the CX-30 quadcopter with camera. Due to the attractive and  special design, the CX-30 quadcopter can be the favorite multi-copter of 2014, for the small quadcopters division. This multi-rotor size is only 185x185mm and 20mm in height. That's perfect for indoor flight and you can choose between four...

Cheerson CX-33W with WIFI control

Cheerson CX-33W tricopter
I first read about this CX-33W a few weeks ago and because of its unique design, it was hard for me to tag it. It has only 3 arms instead of 4, as usual for quadcopters, so I should call it a tri-copter? No, it is not that simple because it has motors and propellers on each side of the...

Cheerson CX-22

Cheerson CX-22
Cheerson CX-22 the most expected quadcopter of 2015 Looking for my first GPS quadcopter I found out about this new Cheerson CX-22 multi-rotor. Its launching was just announced on some quadcopter blogs. One of my option for my first GPS quad was the older CX-20 because it has the most attractive price on the market. After I read about this new model I decided to wait for it. Today I contacted my favorite online...

Cheerson CX-30W WIFI FPV quadcopter for iPhones

A few months ago, the Chinese Cheerson manufacturer launched a very attractive quadcopter with an extremely ugly remote controller, the CX-30. Now, they quit with the physical remote controller, and they added to the CX-30W remote control support with modern IOS mobile phones (iPhones from Apple). Right now, I received an email from the manufacturer. I have asked them about the...

Cheerson TINY CX-95S and CX-95W FPV quads

Cheerson TINY CX-95S and CX95W quadcopters
Cheerson CX-95S & CX-95W, micro FPV quadcopters with ducted propellers Honestly I like the idea that Cheerson's new micro FPV series comes in parts and you have to assemble it. While the Cheerson CX-95S comes with F3 flight controller and DSM receiver (no TX included), the cheaper Cheerson CX-95W comes with their own flight controller and a toyish remote controller. Definitely, if I would request to review one of these two drones, I will...

Cheerson CX-10C: A tiny drone with onboard camera

Cheerson CX10C review
Ten years ago, playing with such a small multi-rotor like this Cheerson CX-10C seemed unimaginable. Now, we can purchase nano and micro quadcopters for $10-$20. These small remote-controlled toys became popular quickly because they are extremely affordable, portable, and easy to fly. When I purchased my first nano quadcopter, one of my colleagues asked me "OK, that is so small but...

Cheerson CX-10D with altitude hold

Cheerson CX-10D quadcopter
Cheerson CX-10D world's smallest quadcopter with barometric sensor Looking for the latest quadcopter news I found out that Cheerson Hobby have just released their newest micro drone, the CX-10D with altitude hold. This Cheerson CX-10D is the fourth generation of the CX-10 series. Unlike its predecessors (CX-10C and CX-10W), it doesn't have a camera, which is probably the biggest drawback of this new model. Thanks...

Cheerson CX-17 Cricket quadcopter review

Cheerson CX-17 Cricket review
I went for a walk recently in the nearest forest, excited to enjoy some fresh spring air and beautiful flowering trees. In one pocket I had my smartphone. In another, I had a mini-quadcopter, the new Cheerson CX-17. I like these small drones because you can take them everywhere with you - to the park or even to the office....
