Caddx Turbo Micro SDR2 Plus: Freestyle & Race

Caddx Turbo Micro SDR2 Plus Freestyle & Racing

Caddx has announced an upgraded version of their SDR FPV camera series, called Caddx Turbo Micro SDR2 Plus. The new SDR2 Plus series comes in two variants: Freestyle and Race. Both versions will be available in three army texture colors: Red, Yellow, and Khaki.

Featuring high-quality Sony STARVIS image sensor and Turbo Eye Lens with an F1.8 focal length, both cameras offer up to 0.0001 Lux light sensitivity. Through the OSD menu, you can freely switch between PAL and NTSC video standards and between 4:3 and 16:9 video formats.

Caddx Turbo Micro SDR2 Plus Freestyle vs Caddx Turbo Micro SDR2 Plus Race

As you can see in the comparison table below, the biggest difference between the Freestyle and Race editions is the video resolution. While the SDR2 Plus Freestyle has 1200TVL, the SDR2 Plus Racing has only 1000TVL. Contrary to its larger size, the Freestyle version is lighter than the Race edition. Caddx claims their racing drone-optimized FPV camera features extremely low latency and zero jello effect.
