After a long absence, MJX comes back with a very promising GPS-enabled folding drone. The MJX BUGS 16 PRO features a true EIS 4K camera installed on a 3-axis gimbal. The camera is capable of recording 3840×2160 videos with 30fps and FullHD 1080P with 60fps. The camera has a 1/3 inch CMOS image sensor and a 2.96mm f2.0 lens that provides a 120° field of view.

According to the advertised specs, the 3S 3200mAh modular battery allows up to 28 minutes of flight time. The battery can be charged in just one hour using a fast USB PD charger.

Thanks to the fail-safe return to home function, the MJX B16Pro drone will automatically return to the take-off point in case of RC signal loss or low flight battery voltage. RTH can be triggered manually as well.

  1. BIGGEST problem with this Bugs is the transmission breaks off after just 207 meters. Managed to get 304 meters at best over a lake. That’s it. It claims 800 meters, yeah right. The camera on mine takes good shots and video. Will break it apart to see if antenna mods can save it.

  2. The biggest problem with this drone is that the stick movements are not very accurate. In particular, for turning, the drone can overreact (i.e., turning too much) or under-react (i.e., turning too little or even no reaction). Therefore, it may not be as good as the similarly priced SJRC F11 4K Pro, which is more “playable” with predictable reaction. In fact, if 4K is not absolutely, a used or new DJI Mavic Mini is still very very competitive. I don’t like this BUGS 16 Pro. Has flew a couple of time and shuffled it into my closet.

    • If I may ask, don’t you wanna sell the bugs 16, I use the drone for spitting out fish in rivers,i stay is South Africa my whatsup number 0715017155 Jaco
