BLUETTI Elite 100 V2: The Evolution of the AC180

Portable BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 power station with digital display and multiple charging ports, ideal for outdoor adventures and emergency backup.

On July 1, 2025, Bluetti will release a new portable power station named the Elite 100 V2 — a more powerful, smarter, quieter, and lighter version of the AC180, reviewed here in 2024. Weighing close to 6 kg less than its predecessor, it’s perfect for outdoor activities when you need to pack light.

The upcoming BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 raises the bar with higher solar input, ultra-fast recharging, a portable design, and lower noise level. Whether you’re camping off-grid, working remotely, tackling outdoor projects, or staying prepared during power outages, this versatile power station delivers reliable performance wherever and whenever you need it.

It features a 1,024Wh total capacity with long-lasting LiFePO₄ battery cells, offering over 4,000 charge cycles and an expected service lifespan of up to 10 years. It can be fully recharged in just 70 minutes (or at 80% in just 45 min) and supports up to 1 kW of solar input.

In addition to the two standard AC outlets, the front panel features four USB ports (2× Type-A and 2× Type-C) for charging a variety of devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and drone batteries.

I remember that my first power station, when charged at full speed from AC, was noisy as hell. Since then, whenever I look for portable power solutions, I always check the noise level. Running as quietly as 30dB under light loads — much quieter than the AC180 — it’s perfect for tents, bedrooms, or any small shared space.

  1. Elite 100v2, 1024Wh 25.2lb = 40.63 Wh/lb, price TBA
    AC 180P, 1440Wh 35.3 lb = 40.79 Wh/lb, $499 currently on sale before coupons, maybe $480

Energy density is about the same, wireless charging pad deleted, other stuff about the same for most of us. Hard to see 100v2 as a real win unless it’s priced below $500 list. 100v2 is $898 so if 100v2 is half that, I guess it’s a win.

  2. Does not have any expansion slot. It is intended to be used outdoor and charged from portable solar panels. If you need something for indoor use and expansion capabilities, look for the new APEX series.
