HGLRC Sector X5 and D5

HGLRC’s latest FPV racing drone designed to carry a GoPro 10 camera comes with two frame design options. While the Sector X5 features an X-type frame structure with a wheelbase of 210mm, the Sector D5 has a ‘Dead Cat’ frame with a 225mm wheelbase. Both variants are equipped with the same Zeus F722 Mini flight controller and Zeus 45A V2 4in1 ESC board.

The HGLRC Sector X5/D5 drones are with available 4S and 6S power options. In the case of 4S, you can opt for AEOLUS 2306.5 KV2550 or AEOLUS 2207.5 KV2550 motors. The more powerful 6S edition is available AEOLUS 2306.5 KV1900 or AEOLUS 2207.5 KV2550 motors KV1750. All versions use the same HQProp&Ethix S5 5inch 3-leaf propeller.

Sector X5 vs Sector D5

Like most racing drones, the HGLRC Sector X5/D5 is available with analog and HD digital video transmission systems. While the 5.8GHz analog edition comes with Caddx Ratel 2 camera and Zeus 800mW VTX, the DJI compatible HD digital version with Caddx Polar Vista kit.

Designed for long-range flights it comes with a pre-installed GPS system that allows fail-safe RTH on RC signal loss (out of range). According to your existing transmitter, you can opt for FrSky XM+, R-XSR, Crossfire Nano, or HGLRC ELRS 2.4Ghz radio receivers.

    • For the 6S version, 1100mAh – 1300mAh would be a good choice. And for 4S version, 1300mAh – 1800mAh would be ok. You can expect 10-15 of flight time
