Zhiyun-Tech, one of the most popular phone stabilizer brand, has just released their new Smooth XS gimbal. Like its predecessor, it provides to 2-axis mechanical stabilization for smartphones. Despite that, the new Smooth XS is actually even smaller, it has the same excellent battery life and pack of features.
Zhiyun Smooth XS is available in four colors (Ivory White, Pearly Pink, Lemon Yellow, and Navy Blue) and measures 69 x 56 x 267 mm. With a maximum payload of up to 235g/0.51lbs, it can be used with some of the most massive smartphones on the market, like the iPhone Xs Max and Samsung Note 20 Ultra.
On the front panel, there is only a tiny joystick and two control buttons (mode switch portrait/landscape and record). The zoom in/out slider is found on the left side of the handler. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate for sure the built-in 260mm telescopic rod and the included mini tripod.
