ZLL SG908 KUN 4K drone: Redesigned Beast

ZLL, ex ZLRC bring on the market a new GPS enabled drone called SG908 KUN. Similar to the Beast series it features brushless motors and excellent battery life. Apart from the more Mavic like design and lack of laser collision avoidance system, the ZLL SG908 inherits most of the features of the SG906 MAX. Even its battery and range seem to be the same.

With folded arms, it measures 18x9x8cm and weighs only 534 grams. The flight battery is loaded from the tail of the drone and it has a security lock and four charging level indicators. According to the advertised specs, the 2s/3400mAh LIPO pack allows about 26 minutes of playtime. The battery can be charged using a standard USB phone charger.

Thanks to the fail-safe return to home function, in case of remote controller signal loss or low flight battery voltage, the ZLL SG908 will return autonomously to the take-off point. RTH can be manually activated as well.

Starting with January 5, 2020, the SG908 can be ordered from Banggood. While for the basic edition with one battery you need to pay $149.99, the Fly more combo pack with 3 batteries is listed for $199.99. Both versions include a set of spare propellers and a nice carry case.

  1. Garbage spent over 2 months on support with ZLL said it was my fault the drone gimbal wasn’t working…right out of the box new something was up as it just hung there like a limp noodle. ALIEXPRESS was no help either spent $250 on garbage. I hope the entire continent of China explodes.

  2. My SG908 flied up to values H120 D1525 according to values on remote control, but when I reviewed recorded video and measured same distance on Google maps I got only 620-650 m. Are you facing similar issues with remote values?
Having almost 2x difference it RTH successfully.

  3. Please help, my drone goes in connection with the mobile phone but the software doesn’t communicate between drone/phone.

    • Hi, I have just got my ZLL sg908 drone and I have the same problem as you. My mobile phone is correctly connected to the drone with 5G wifi, but android app is not working properly.
I can’t see the camera image on my mobilephone. I can only take photos by phone and not record video. Have you already found help with this issue?

      • no app original da zll não consegui também, mas usei o Xil PRO e deu a imagem direitinho
on the original zll app I couldn’t get it either, but I used the Xil PRO and it gave the image right

  4. Please help!!! Does anybody know where to download the instructions manual? The one that came with the drone hard!!! Hard to read!!! Letters size of eye ants. Please let me know. Thanks

  5. Bit disappointing they keep using the same camera – Not terrible but not much of an upgrade either. FYO you have a release date of Jan 5 2020. Is it a time machine also? LOL

    • LLZ say yes in their model comparison matrix.
The only example I’ve seen was badly shot and didn’t look that stable but that could well have been operator error.
It was some older dude on YouTube who was zigzagging all over the place.
