When FirstQuadcopter.com was launched, everything revolved around drones. In those early days, gimbals meant one thing to us: drone camera stabilization. What defines our gimbal reviews is simple: we test what we write about. We balance the cameras, walk with them, run with them, shoot in wind, low light, and long sessions. A lightweight smartphone gimbal excels at travel and vlogging, while a heavy mirrorless rig demands power and precision. Technology evolves fast, but the fundamentals remain the same: balance, motor control, and intelligent software.
